Do you know of any people or organizations that are supporting school gardens or maintains a school garden in Paris, Munich or Switzerland (around Zurich)? I would like to visit and connect with people/organizations that do school gardening while in the area this summer.

Hi Kirsten,
Sorry but no, I don't have any information on European school gardens.  Good luck in your search.

Not exactly a school garden, but the Marie Antoinette gardens at Versaille are lovely kitchen gardens and are full of ideas that would work well for school gardens, I think.

Hi Kirsten,

You should get to know the International School Grounds Alliance. This a network of people and organizations around the globe who are working in this area. http://www.internationalschoolgrounds.org/

Ironically, I don't know of anyone from France or Switzerland, in particular, but Germany has some incredible stuff going on. Happy to connect you.

I would try the American Community Gardening Association and also check out Robin Hortons blog urban gardens web.  She features a lot of youth and community gardens in Paris especially.
