Initiative for Independent School Garden Program
|
|
“The good news is the storm passed, and even though it took our greenhouse, our committee is stronger than ever.” For this success story, we travel to Aguadilla, Puerto Rico to visit past Garden Grant recipient, Initiative for Independent School. With their grant funds, they built a greenhouse, which quickly became the hub of their thriving garden, but this past fall, their garden and new greenhouse were destroyed by Hurricane Ian. We are excited to be able to award them a Renewal Garden Grant to rebuild their greenhouse and support their program. We look forward to hearing how their inspiring garden grows!
