Moisture Meter recommendations

Hello Gardeneers, 

Do you have any recommendations for moisture meters? We’ll be using them in hands-on STEM lessons in our school garden and are looking for models with these characteristics:

• No battery required

• Easy-to-read display (for accessibility)

• Not too “stabby” — short/rounded probe preferred

• Sturdy and durable

• Relatively easy to store and transport

Any brand/model suggestions, classroom-friendly tips or places to buy good-quality, affordable units would be much appreciated.
