Illinois Climate Education Hub launch event - Virtual, October, 22, 4:00pmCT. You may know that Illinois became the fifth state to require climate change education in public schools in August 2024 with new legislation requiring Illinois public schools to educate students on climate change starting in 2026. In early September the Illinois Climate Education Hub was launched - a non profit online hub for K-12 teachers of all subjects to find credible, engaging, unbiased, FREE, climate education resources that have been reviewed by educators. Attend our launch event to learn more, hear from our founding partners, students, and find out how you can bring free climate education resources to your school!
