Hello educators and partners in Baltimore and beyond!

I hope you are staying well in this difficult time.

As part of the Baltimore City Public Schools Farm to School team, I am reaching out as we continue brainstorming ways to support our students amid school closures and uncertainty due to covid-19. To offer teachers tools for more dynamic virtual classrooms, we are compiling a database of live virtual experiences (i.e., online “field trips” – see example below my signature) for students. We know many organizations have shown great creativity and innovation in this time, and we’d like to share your resources with our teachers and students.

Please complete this survey by June 19 if you or your organization offers (or plans to offer) such opportunities connected to the themes of farming, gardening, food systems, nutrition, greening, and/or sustainability -- and would like to be listed in an online database for City Schools staff. Please feel free to share the survey with others as well.

If you would like to offer this type of experience but need help thinking through what it could look like, please reply to this email but hold off on completing the survey.

Thank you in advance for your time! And thank you for everything you are doing to help your/our communities stay connected and well during this time.

Take care,

Anne

I suggest that the educator looks into the National Agriculture in the Classroom curriculum.
