Hello,

Does anyone have any recommendations for books, articles, blogs, or other resources on the topic of creating a new journal from scratch?

Many thanks!

John

Hi John,

I've always found this piece from the Public Knowledge Project useful as far as a basic step by step guide (even if you don't end up using Open Journal Systems).

Basic Steps for Starting a New Journal Here are the main steps in setting up your journal with OJS. Some link to PKP School courses, which are free but require registration to take and to view.

Hope this is useful.

Kind regards,
Eleni
