Hello,

I may have made a basic mistake in setup or I might not understand how
this app should work in Facebook, but it appears that the links from
the Recent Post box that connect with WPBook aren't working correctly
for me.

I have added the recent posts box to my facebook page -
http://www.facebook.com/pages/StormThredz/122941486778 - but when I
click on any of the links it just sends me to a page showing the
recent posts again.

If I go directly to the app page - http://apps.facebook.com/stormthredz/
- I can see that it is pulling content from my Wordpress site, so the
connection is working in one way. However, if I click any of the post
links within the app page, I am sent back to the recent posts display,
from which I can do nothing else.
The post links from within the app page look like this -
http://apps.facebook.com/stormthredz/2009/11/stormthredz-on-facebook/

My canvas callback url is http://stormthredz.com/blog/

I would appreciate any help! Thank you!

What do your permalinks look like on your blog? Do they begin with /
blog ?

It is likely wpbook is miscalculating the "inside facebook" URL for
each post because it assumes permalinks paths are added to the
callback URL

I should add that if this is the case, I think of this as a bug in
this version of wpbook and I hope to fix it in the next few weeks

Ah, now I understand what was happening. I have a static front page,
so the blog posts don't show up under blog/post but just /post. When
I changed the canvas callback url to just the root (stormthredz.com)
the posts displayed correctly. The only thing is that now the
application home page only displays a post 'Home' instead of all the
blog posts. Is it possible to have it work both ways so that the
posts display correctly and the application home page is the blog?

Also, as an unrelated issue, is it possible to link back to the
facebook page from the post view? As it is, it appears there's no way
back except for the back button.

Thanks for the quick and helpful response!

Yes, the issue is that I didn't account in design for the different
combinations of "static homepage" vs regular blog homepage, install in
subdirectory, etc.

There is no simple solution, yet - I am still hoping to find a simple
combination of settings (domain, installed root, homepage, and
permalink structure?) that will let me cover all the cases and still
show the right stuff on the landing page and individual blog post pages.
