Hi,

I'm interested in helping out with the scholarpress coins plugin.  I'd like to

- write some documentation for the webpage

- write an plugin admin subpage saying where you can change the metadata values

then

- Add in a rights metadata element so people can add in CC/GPL...

- default tag removed as a subject

later maybe

- set 'type' on a post by post value? (podcast v. blogpost). 

I see you guys are busy on your big projects and I'm only looking for a wee one :)

Me?  I'm a library school student in New Zealand with too much time on my hands (not).

Thanks for offering to help, Anton. the easiest way to contribute is
to just send patches for the features you'd like to add to the plugin,
and we can review them. This is one of the plugins left that we should
move to the scholarpress github account, to make collaboration a bit
easier. In the meantime, though, you can send patches for the current
trunk[1] and we can go from there.

You'll probably be interested in the changes to Coins I added to 1.3.
I made it possible to filter the title attribute of the COinS span to
rebuild that string however you'd like, with another plugin or in your
WP theme's functions.php file. This should let you add the rights
metadata element, remove the subject, and do other things with the
metadata as necessary.
