An author's scores experienced major %tile drops from one reading to the next, from 29 January 2019 to 2 February 2019.

e.g. integrative & complementary medicine went from 91.0 to 33.0, cardiac & cardiovascular systems from 88.0 to 71.0.

Any idea why this happened?

Thanks.

Dear Tom,

We are in the process of transitioning to a completely new version of
Scholarometer. We plan to make an announcement on this list when the
transition is complete.

The new system will only rely on data extracted from Google Scholar
profiles. This will allow a focus on clean data without having to use
heuristics to disambiguate author names. On the downside, old data
inferred from user queries will be dropped. This is the likely reason
for the changes in scores and percentiles. As we collect new, cleaner
data through the new Scholarometer extension, we hope that the scores
and percentiles will stabilize quickly.

Thank you very much for your interest in Scholarometer!
