When I run a search on a name the search stops at about 20% and then displays the following "error:  status code is 0".   I'm running scholarometer on Chrome on a Mac, and I've tried it on three different machines and with multiple author names.  All produce the same error.  This is a new problem, as earlier similar searches worked about a month ago.  Any suggestions?

Okay - I figured it out.  Its specific to Chrome and it happens on both Macs and PCs.  The Foxfire version works with no errors.   Not clear when this changed, but there is some problem that needs to be fixed on the Chrome interaction.

Dear Tom and Scholarometer users,

We have fixed the problem with Chrome extension of Scholarometer. Please make sure to download the new version of Chrome extension (version 4.0.1).
