Unable to search by name

Hello,

I have scholarometer for chrome installed for about two years now. I was able to do searches by Google ID or name. Now, everytime I do a search by name, the application stops when it is 20% done, and I get an error status code is: O. The only exception is if the named search already has a Google scholar ID. In that case, I can perform a search by name. 

I have erased and downloaded the application several times without being able to resolve this problem. 

Anyone else experiencing the same issue, and is there a fix?

We are aware of this issue as it has already been flagged and
discussed on this list. As we indicated before, the fix is not trivial
and, given our lack of resources, we do not have an ETA for when we
will be able to address it. As soon as a fix is in place, we will
announce it on this list.

So for the time being the query by author name is not working. The
query by Scholar ID should still work.
