To anyone who has this resource: Do you think it is appropriate for 10th
graders? My fear is that it will prove too juvenile in looks for them.
How do you feel about it?
Thanks

We use this in our high school as well as Lands and People.

Thanks to all who replied. I am amazed at the speed with which I get
answers. faster than calling some 800 numbers and waiting for cutomer
service!
The majority of replies, but not all, said that World Book
Encyclopedia's People and Places was suitable for 10th graders,
although also for younger students. At least one said Lands and Peoples
had more info and found it more useful. One reply suggested that content
is all--if the resource has the information the students seek, then that
source should be in the library.
You have helped us make our decision. Thanks again to all.
