DIRECTOR OF INFOhio

JOB TITLE: Director of INFOhio

REPORTS TO: MCOECN - INFOhio Governance Board

EMPLOYED BY: Mahoning County Educational Service Center
(fiscal agent for ACCESS)

JOB GOALS: Provides coordination, leadership, and management to affect the
implementation and successful operation of INFOhio.

QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED: 1. Bachelor's Degree
2. Successful administrative management expertise.
3. Effective oral and written communications skills.

PREFERRED:

1. Experience in the implementation of library automation.

2. Working knowledge and/or experience in the integration of
computer hardware, software and application systems.

3. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement a continuous
program of professional and technical development.

4. Successful professional experience in the K-12 educational
environment.

PERFORMANCE
RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Collaborates with ACCESS appointed staff member, fiscal agent
liaison for Mahoning County Educational Service Center.

2. Plans and coordinates implementation of INFOhio with state
agencies, support organizations, and state initiatives.

3. Prepares and manages the INFOhio budget for approval by the
MCOECN INFOhio Governance Board.

4. Supervises and directs the staff for the Union Catalog and
INFOhio administrative services.

5. Works in conjunction with the Executive Director of MCOECN
for contract negotiation and administration of INFOhio contracts.

6. Conducts needs assessments and recommends priorities as deemed
essential to INFOhio.

7. Prepares feasibility studies, cost analyses and recommendations
for the purchase and implementation of INFOhio software and hardware.

8. Works to ensure satisfactory performance of all INFOhio service providers.

9. Identifies needs, develops, implements, and monitors INFOhio training.

10. Demonstrates leadership and initiative in development.

11. Demonstrates professional ethical behavior and serves as an appropriate
representative of OECN.

12. Adheres to all the rules and regulations of the fiscal Agent and
the State of Ohio.

13. Performs any other duties as assigned by the MCOECN INFOhio Governance
Board.
