Newsgroup password-Earthlink

I recently switched my ISP to Earthlink. I was able to tell it (using
Netscape Communicator 4.6) to remember my password for my email, but am
finding that I have to enter my username and password everytime for
access to the newsgroups. Is this an Earthlink thing or can I do
something so that I don't have to do this every time?

EDTECH has changed addresses. The new list address is
EDT...@H-NET.MSU.EDU. All subscription commands should be sent to
LIST...@H-NET.MSU.EDU.
