Schevo has had a history of adopting the latest 2.x version of Python after it has been out for several months and has had a maintenance release or two.

Python 2.6 is at maintenance version 2.6.2 on the Python website, and 2.6 is now standard on Mac OS X 10.6 as well as Ubuntu Linux 9.04.

In light of this, Schevo 3.1.0 will officially require Python 2.6, and will not officially support Python 2.5.
