Throttle valve? That sounds like the potentiometer at the front of the shaft that goes through the throttle bodies. I recall doing the A/D firmware upgrade on the Trijekt fuel injection computer that there was a program you could use to monitor the computer. I would plug a laptop into the serial port (it's by the wing tanks in the fuselage). The monitoring software might let you watch the sensor inputs in real time.
If the Trijekt doesn't know the throttle position, it would likely assume full throttle and apply full fuel. Which would explain the warning on the ilec, since the ilec is in communication with the Trijekt.
