Good morning,

I have a problem with the automatic ignition check system on a new Arcus M. During the automatic check, the engine RPM drops by about 1000 RPM on both the left and right ignition circuits.

I would like to know if this has already happened to any other owners and what the possible cause might be.

Thank you and best regards.

Caution: This is a wild-assed guess, but...
1000 rpm drop sounds like running on one cylinder?
A pair of spark plug leads swapped between cylinders would show this symptom?

Anyway, quick to check, let us know what you find...

Best Regards, Dave "YO"

Hello,
I think that this error could occur if both cables from ignition circuit 1 are connected to cylinder 1 (or 2) and those from ignition circuit 2 to cylinder 2 (or 1).
As a result, the engine would only run on both cylinders when both ignition circuits are active.

Bests
Hans
