G'day everyone. I'm in the process of fitting a new bellows, which connects the tank discharge pipe to the tail tank dump valve. Having removed the old bellows (which btw was 9 years old & still in good condition), I'm at the point of fitting the new bellows to the discharge pipe & this is where my problem begins. The access hole is ~ 100mm square, so it's strictly a one handed operation. The discharge pipe has a "lip" at the opening which is ~ 22mm OD, whilst the hole on the bellows is ~ 15mm. So, with my one hand, I've spent 45' trying to stretch the bellows over the discharge pipe & not even getting close!! So, if anyone can offer advice / guidance, it will be greatly appreciated. Thanks,  Bill  VH-FIG

My only offhand thought is to warm up the bellows
as much as you can to make it more flexible and to expand it.

Use two hands? Just kidding...

Its been a while since I've done this, but IIRC its easiest to stretch working your fingers the insides of the bellow.
PITA though. The other end is a bit easier as it needs to stretch less. No heat required. Can't remember if I used any lubricant but obviously take care not to use anything that will hurt the rubber over long term (maybe chap-stick - parafin).

Hope that helps!
