message from the Scheme Steering Committee

Hello, WG2 members. I'm writing to you on behalf of the Scheme Steering Committee. The other members are Marc Feeley and Shiro Kawai. We have had two meetings so far. We want to support the working group's efforts however we can. In order to do that, we need to keep up to date with its activities, the status of R7RS Large, and the WG2 chair's plans. I've been attending WG2's IRC meetings, but that doesn't give us a complete picture. We've decided that we should meet with the WG2 chair every three to four months.

We'd like to be able to schedule our first meeting with Daphne, the WG2 chair, but haven't been able to reach her recently. Has anyone on the WG2 been in contact with her? If you have, would you please pass the word along that we would like to meet, and let me know that you've done so?
