Can not register

I am trying to register a new account. When I click Create Account and Login it only gives me an option for a user name and password. When I try enter one (I have not actually created one) just to see what happens. It loops me to the same page. An error message pops up saying "Password is incorrect (or something)".

What do I do, how do I register?

My attempt to create a super simple login system, where registration and login are combined, has somewhat failed. What is likely happening here is the username you want is already taken, which is why it reports the password is wrong. Had the user not existed, it would have created it at that moment and then logged you in. 

Try to go through the process with a different username and it should go through (assuming it isn't taken already too).
