Schema.org with RDFa 1.1, is it parsed?

Hello Folks,

I am a little confused by the documentation on Schema.org, I am moving
towards the adoption of structured data on my site and was leaning
towards RDFa. In the FAQs it is stated that they will be monitoring
the web for RDFa adoption and if it picks up, they will look into
supporting it. However they provide you a link to the data model where
they show you how to mark up pages with RDFa 1.1 using the Schema.org
vocabulary.

So I am wondering if I used RDFa 1.1 with the Schema.org vocabulary if
it will be picked up by the search engines, or should I move forward
with Micro Data format?
