Dear  Ronald / Dieter,

We are currently running Schedulix 2.10 on Amazon Linux 2023 (AL2023) with Linux kernel 6.1.
According to the latest Amazon Linux advisories (ALAS2023-2025-935), our system will soon be updated to kernel 6.12.

Could you please confirm whether Schedulix 2.10 is officially supported on Amazon Linux 2023 with Linux kernel 6.12?

If not yet certified, are there any known limitations or recommended steps for testing before applying the kernel update in production?

Thank you in advance for your support.

Best regards,
Elvira

Hello Elvira,

since schedulix is pretty selfcontained, I don't doubt that it will run flawlessly with kernel 6.12.
There's no strict dependency regarding the kernel as long as it remains compatible at the API level (which it does since decades).

If you run into issues, please report.
I'll help you resolving them as soon as possible then.
And if everything works well, feel free to report that as well.

Best regards,

Ronald
