to schedulix
Hi all,

I'm proud to announce the new schedulix release 2.11.
The most exiting novelty is the new GUI, which is first released as an experimental feature.
Those of you that use rpms to install schedulix, just have to install the schedulix-fe rpm.

Others will have to unzip the schedulix-fe.zexp.gz file that is located in the zope4/import directory.
After unzipping the file, it can be imported in the Zope5 installation. You might have to create a link, analogue to the SDMS.zexp.
After the import you'll find a schedulix-fe folder in the Zope management interface. In that folder there is a folder called custom which you copy and paste it in the root directory .
Within the new custom folder you'll find a file called config.json which needs to be adapted to your environment. I think it is pretty self-explanatory.

From there you can address 'schedulix-fe' instead of 'SDMS' in your URL and the new GUI will present itself.

The new GUI directly connects to the scheduling server and uses Zope mainly as a container. This means that you'll have to sign on with a valid schedulix user (like SYSTEM) and the appropriate password (like G0H0ME).

Enjoy!

Best regards,

Ronald
