Crossing Boundaries and Reducing Barriers:

How Conservation GIS expands ecological, management and cultural horizons

The Abstract & Curated Session submission deadline has been EXTENDED to February 28, 2026!

What conservation GIS projects or themes have you been exploring recently? Our annual conference is the perfect place to share your work and experiences!

An Abstract Presentation is a single, 10-12 minute presentation + 5 minutes for questions, where the solo presenter discusses their work on a project, problem or topic.

A Curated Session can be in the form of a multi-speaker session, a panel or training.  These sessions are longer in length (45 minutes - 2 hours) and are designed by the submitter (you!).

Both of these formats can be on any subject, so long it relates to Conservation GIS.  If you aren't sure which format you would like to present under, please reach out to conferenc...@scgis.org - we'll be happy to help you choose!

More info on abstracts and curated sessions here!

We will be opening registration very soon - stay tuned!

Due to unforeseen technical issues, we have had to delay opening registration. We are working to solve this issue as quickly as we can.  Thank you for your patience!
