Dear Conservation Partner:
The Wildlife Management Institute (WMI) is inviting you, a valued member of the conservation community, to participate in a project we are leading to help NASA (National
Aeronautics and Space Administration) better understand how the geospatial data products they and other organizations produce are utilized and integrated into conservation. Below is a link to a survey, designed by WMI’s social science team and a broad selection
of conservation vested organizations and agencies, that we hope you will complete. Information you provide through this survey will help advance the integration of cutting-edge technology into wildlife conservation in North America and identify any unmet data
and geospatial information needs that affect wildlife and habitat management decisions.
In the spirit of a shared passion for the conservation of wild things and wild places, we ask you to join us and hundreds of other conservation professionals in this effort. Even if you don't have strong opinions about, or infrequently use, geospatial data
in your current position, we want to hear from you — all wildlife management perspectives and voices are valued! The survey is only open to conservation professionals and will only be available until
January 30th, but we encourage you to participate as soon as possible.
Depending on your level of feedback, this survey should take 12-14 minutes to complete. Your responses are
confidential and anonymous, and your responses will never be associated with your name. Your responses will be combined with the responses of others and reported in aggregate only.
We encourage you to forward this survey link to other conservation professionals in your organization or other organizations you partner with who have a vested interest in solving conservation challenges with geospatial data tools. We greatly value your candid feedback as we continue to bridge NASA’s research and technology capabilities with conservation management and policy making in the face of a rapidly changing world.
You can access the survey by clicking Start Survey or through your browser at: https://www.research.net/r/wmi. Thank you in advance for your time and your feedback.
