DC Climate Week (4/28–5/2): Events on Conservation, Nature & Biodiversity

Hi everyone!

Thought I'd give you all a heads-up about conservation, nature and biodiversity events and happy hours taking place during the first-ever DC Climate Week (April 28 – May 2 around DC). Most events are free, but admission isn't 100% guaranteed. In general, the quicker you RSVP, the more likely you are to be admitted.

Some of the initially confirmed events that might pique SCGIS-ers' curiosities:

• Biodiversity on Tap Happy Hour (4/28 at 5:30 PM)
• DCCW Day 4 – Nature (5/1 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM; tickets awarded by lottery)
• Rooftop Farm Tour and Happy Hour (5/1 at 5:30 PM)

More events will be added to the DCCW calendar in the coming weeks. Folks can also plan their own side events and happy hours and register them with DCCW. Read the DCCW official event guide to learn more. Also follow DCCW on LinkedIn for updates.
