Seeking volunteer presenters: SCGIS-DC at GeoDC on April 4!

Hi SCGIS-DC,

For the past few years, SCGIS-DC has been invited to join the GeoDC Meetup to share about conservation GIS. I hope that you will be able to join us for an evening of sharing and networking with GeoDC in person (yay!) on Tuesday, April 4th at 6pm at City-State Brewing Company located in Brookland, DC (red line).

What conservation GIS projects are you working on? We are seeking 3 volunteers to present a lightning talk (with slides) at the GeoDC Meetup. If you are interested in this opportunity, please send a Title and 3-5 sentence Abstract to my email address (off-list) by Friday, March 10. As in the past, if we receive more than 3 volunteer submissions, we will try to select three that represent a diversity of topics and geographies. Therefore, please write your title and abstract as clearly and meaningfully as possible.
