The NASA Applied Remote Sensing Training (ARSET) program has launched a new online training series: Visualizing Land Cover and Land Use Change with NASA Satellite Imagery. We invite you to participate in this no-cost training (more info below) and help us spread the word.

Visualizing Land Cover and Land Use Change with NASA Satellite Imagery

This two-part training covers some of the ways that we can use NASA data to assess land cover and land use change (LCLUC). Participants will see examples of supervised and unsupervised classification models implemented in the R statistical coding language, and improve their understanding of how these models can be used to produce maps and metrics of LCLUC.

Course Dates: February 24 & 26

Time: Session A: 11:00-13:00 EST (UTC-5) / Session B 14:00-16:00 EST (UTC-5)

Register Today: https://go.nasa.gov/4s2XnyJ

We hope to see you in attendance!
