The American Bird Conservancy is inviting folks to go birding with them for DC Climate Week on Wednesday, April 30, at 8:30 AM. Location is to be determined. Apply for a spot here. BYO sunscreen, water bottle, etc.

Spring migration is one of the world's natural wonders, but a lot of us miss what is happening right above us. During DC Climate Week, millions of birds that nest in the Northern Hemisphere are moving north to find emerging sources of food and nesting locations.
We will spend a morning with our feathered friends to celebrate migration and our own ability to gather together in nature. This event is appropriate for experienced birders and for those who have never tried to find birds before.
You will need comfortable shoes and clothes. A hat and sunscreen are helpful. Binoculars would be great but are completely optional. We will bring a few extra pairs. We will provide some snacks, but please bring your own water bottle.
