Welcome to the Society for Conservation GIS Washington, DC Chapter page!  The Society for Conservation GIS (SCGIS) assists conservationists worldwide in using GIS through communication, networking, scholarships, and training.  You can learn more about it here: https://www.scgis.org/

This list is for SCGIS members who live in the metropolitan DC area.  Our activities comprise of professional meetings on various topics presented on a volunteer basis by members of the SCGIS-DC community and hosted at a variety of DC-based conservation non-profits and institutions.  We also have happy hours from time to time.
