@GabGarfield did you find an elegant solution to the problem? Ofc each time separately saving the battery patch with samples is always going to work. but very tedious esp for the many older projects i have.

@Jeremy_NI Now, after this is a known issue for 3 Months, are there any updates on the planned fix? This is a pretty severe issue, which prevents me from working on any of my projects. strange behaviour, after a while i cannot use the sliders and knobs whit my mouse, the controllers randonly changes, no smooth values can be made.....i have no idea where this comes from, i dont have writen ANY controler changes on that channel. when i open a battery clean it seems ok, but not in my project. very strange and very unusable.

in my fresh autoload battery is working as should, but in my project, that strange mousecontroll-behaviour is going on with two insances of battery. makes it unuseable, i can write perhaps the level and pan in numbers, but ehhhm, i want to use the mouse. it doesnt work even in stop. something strange is going on. i have no idea where it comes from. its also latest battery version.

Now, I don't want to use Battery 3. I want to use battery 4. But I have a lot of old files with Battery 3 in them. It would be pleasant not to have to click through the warnings that Battery 3 is not installed, and nicer still to be able to see which kit I was using.

Yes. To reinstall battery 3 you need your komplete serial number from the version that included battery 3. If you bought komplete recently, it will only include the current versions, not every old version. So, you dont get FM7 for example. Probably i am not helping.

Have you tried the "apply to other battery instances" option? Have you opened battery 4 stand alone once, so it can scan for all libraries and create the database, maybe that can be an issue. Normally you should open all plugins, that have a stand alone version, once stand alone.

NI: plan it already! Don't let it languish! Please! I don't want more sample library based instruments, there are too many, it's a deluge at this point. I want real tools that real electronic musicians can sink their teeth into! Please don't dry up as a company and find a way to make it happen.

regarding the download of 2 big .ISO filed for battery kits however the NI link to the actual instrument battery 3 won't load on my Mac 10.15.7 so the Battery updater provided won't update the older version NI supplied to fix the issue.

Ive even trid hitting abort on the mnissing dialiog box, then from the recent menu in battery i load that kit fresh, all is fine, re-save the kit, keep working, save Cubase, Quit. Re-launch Cubase, click battery and says missing samples. Rinse, repeat. At the core of it it seems that Battery is not writing the new paths back to the kit metadata (file). I could potentially manually rebuild all my kits, but i'm working on dozens of sessions, so it would take way longer that way.

Which operating system you use ? Can you try downloading the Installer from here -instruments.com/de/products/komplete/drums/battery-4/downloads/ ? Enter your Email address and click Get Download Link and use the download link in the email you will get. Install Battery with the downloaded installer. Then start Battery directly without any DAW and if it is in Demo Mode click on Activate, which should open Native Access and activate it.

and if you use the files browser, are you then able to load your user kits? If your kits are in the user folder, be sure to add the right one, on windows you have one local user folder and one under one drive - at least that was the issue on my computer with battery.

just have to say i didn't changed anything, in previous version everything was working normally as should... the only thing changed is the version of battery... still can't find a downgrade on it that will actually work tbh...

I stopped using battery 4 a few years back because of NI's apparent refusal to add an undo function. It's a shame! But try FXpansion Geist 2... I did, and never looked back. So powerful and yet underrated.

I purchased Komplete 13 yesterday and installed everything. However, "Plugin Not Found" occurs when trying to loud Battery 4 in Komplete Kontrol. I have tried everything within -instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/210276145 and the issue still persists.

I recently bought an external SSD Drive, and was not able to locate every single native instruments file and didn't want to individually move everything so I deleted all my native instruments files and have recently re-downloaded most of them (through KOMPLETE 13), yet Battery 4 is giving me issues. After it says it fully downloaded (when I individually went into my file explorer and set it up through the Battery 4 Factory Library set-up installer thing), I go in my DAW (fl studio) and most of the samples on many of my projects show up as "missing samples", and can not be located because they are nowhere in my drive, implying that either Battery 4 deleted them or just simply never installed them. Also in native access it has said that the Battery 4 Factory Library is still installing with the white line continuously bouncing from one side to the other, but I know if I leave it, it won't go away.

I can't ever reinstall battery 4 because every time i try to reinstall it, after the download period, it just stays at installing forever with the white bar bouncing from one side to the other. I deleted the old BATTERY 4 folder from the appdata photo, and then also did the uninstall reg tool thing to delete battery 4 and factory library, yet still, the same problem occurs with the installing.

EG Pulse is super simple to use, only 16 pads, but very intuitive in terms of ADSR/sample waveform selection. There is a HPF (per pad, I think) but I struggle to get it to work. I also ran into an issue where all my ADSR settings / Reverse effects got messed up upon reloading a project, and another instance where a particular sample wasn't playing back intermittently (which is what first made my go searching for an alternative)

I'm reasonably sure that Battery 4 isn't included in Select or Start, so I'm at a loss as to why Battery is showing up in my instruments and also whether there's anything I can do to actually use the menu of kits I'm presented with.

Hi! With the previous versions of Battery 4, when I closed the plugin window of an instance of battery, and open it afterwards, my last search for samples of kits was still there, which I found very handy. With the latest version of Battery 4, installed through Native Access, as soon as I close the window and reopen the plugin instance, the search field is defaulted. Is there a preference that can be set to keep the old behavior? I can't find it, so please let me know:)

I recently bought some expansions, I see and can use these expansions (trill bit, etc) in komplete kontrol, but I cannot see the drum kits in battery 4, I have even uninstalled and reinstalled battery and battery accessories on my external drive, it did not fix...I can see these expansions on my external hard drive, but cannot in the Battery 4 kit list or in Battery 4 stand-alone mode...any ideas?

This issue happens with all paramaters, on a master and cell level. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Battery, multiple restarts of my DAW (Pro Tools 2019 12.0), Computer restarts, etc. None of these issues persist in the standalone battery, just the plugin!

For more than 20 years, NI LabVIEW has helped engineers and scientists incorporate the latest cutting-edge technologies into their projects with an intuitive graphical programming approach. The evolution began with virtual instrumentation, using software to automate the control of box instruments. Advancements in graphical programming have led to capabilities such as creating custom hardware on field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) and accessing the full potential of multicore processors with inherent parallel execution and real-time virtualization. Today, NI is pushing the boundaries of LabVIEW, so developers can acquire, analyze, and present data on a global scale.

The ability to distribute intelligent, low-power wireless sensors over great distances for long-term deployment exists today. Wireless sensor network (WSN) platforms offer measurement hardware that is capable of running on standard battery technology for up to three years. These sensors form wireless mesh networks by relaying data back to a central gateway that aggregates the data and provides connectivity to the wired world. With these systems, engineers can take measurements in locations never previously possible or economically feasible.

Every LabVIEW programmer has this technology in his or her toolbox through native support for NI WSN hardware and drivers for a variety of third-party WSN platforms. The NI WSN platform offers the flexibility to choose a PC-based host controller or an embedded real-time controller, such as NI CompactRIO, for each WSN system, helping engineers create deployed solutions that incorporate the advantages of wired and wireless measurements. Using the LabVIEW WSN Module Pioneer, it is also possible to create and wirelessly deploy applications that run directly on NI WSN nodes. The resulting application running on the node can perform embedded decision making; extend battery life; and add custom analysis, such as interfacing, to sensors.
