hieveryone, I installed element 3d on my mac with after effects 2023... but in the presets (when I click materials) nothing appears.. someone knows how to fix this? or have some presets that do like the "gloss" effect that i'm searching??

I don't store my AE and Element program files on the drive Element points to. If that's the case for you, try reinstalling element with the install folder in the default location. Everything should then load in.

Can you please elaborate? I've tried to install E3d in different folders such as documents or on AE Applications folder, but I run into the same issue. The plugin loads up, but the presets are all missing. I tried so many different methods for 4 hours straight till I realised it may actually not be compatible with AE 2023?

Make sure you have the latest version that matches your AE version, use the Video Copilot installer and use the default locations for everything, restart your computer, and relaunch AE. If that does not solve your problem, reach out to Video Copilot to see if they have a solution.

Could you please tell me why and how i can easily save and load the section presets to a blank new section, that i used to have saved with ease but now it is really difficult to do so now then before?

Since the update, i found them in the libary as elements and not sections, columns, rows, how i used to save the previously. The only saved presets i can access from before is the headlines, buttons, sliders, etc.

In the next update most likely, you are going to see sections in the element library with a way to add them in without CTRL Clicking the outline. Since Columns and Cells need a specific parent you will probably still need to CTRL Click the outline on a valid parent to see custom cells and columns.

Hi Themeco, I wanted to post that I also find it very difficult to add a section preset to a page. It worked very well prior to the Pro 6 update. If it all possible, please try and make it easy and straightforward like before. I honestly gave up on trying to figure this out and just created a new section from scratch to get the job done faster.

There are certain reasons behind the major update and change in the view of Page Builder which you are used to. Still, we are concerned about your feedback and will keep those in mind while working on the next updates.

We recently upgraded the studio to Max 2019 (from 2015), and today we discovered that in the load and save Render Presets dialog, that the Render Elements category is missing! We commonly load just the Render Element settings out of our library of render presets, and now this appears to be broken? Are we doing something wrong, or has this feature been removed? Through our testing, it appears that the Render Elements are now included in the Common category. This will not work for us because we render and many different resolutions and I don't want to have the settings in the Common tab disturbed when loading in Render Presets.

Thanks for bringing your question to the forums! What rendering engine are you using? If you are using Arnold, I believe render elements are handled as AOV's, here is some documentation on AOV's.

Here are three screen shots of the Select Preset Categories dialog, with the renderer set to VRay Next, Scanline, and ART. All three of them are missing a Render Elements category. I'm running 2019.1 Update (21.1.0.1314)

Thanks for the additional information! It looks like @miledrizk had a suggestion that could provide some additional insight, let me know when you get a chance to revisit this and if you found Mileds' suggestion helpful!

From my understanding, it looks like the category named "render elements" isn't appearing for you, but if that's the case, wouldn't you be able to still save any preset into another category? Or is the issue that your script already points to "render elements" preset and you would have to change it?

I'm not able to test Vray settings on my machine currently, my suggestion would be to look through the Vray render elements documentation, and try contacting Chaosgroup support if you aren't finding a tool in Vray that you need.

miledrizk, I guess I don't understand what part of your comment is a suggestion for what I need to do. It looks like you are describing the exact steps I'm already doing, excepting the part where I don't see "Render Elements" listed in the category list. Please see my post and the screen captures I posted where I show the category list that I'm seeing when I do a Save Preset.

@hagen.deloss, Thanks for the reply, but I don't understand your comment: "wouldn't you be able to still save any preset into another category?" Render Presets are not saved INTO a category, rather a Render Preset is made up of categories. @miledrizk posted the steps to save a render preset, but this is not helpful because this is exactly what I am already doing. In Max 2019.1 (21.1.0.1314), I don't see the Render Elements category in the Select Preset Categories dialog with either Saving or Loading. It's not there in Scanline, it's not there in ART, it's not there in VRay, it's not there in Quicksilver. Arnold does not seem to have a Render Elements tab...

I checked in our developer database, and it looks like this was fixed by development, and will be in a future update of the software (I cant give you an exact release date), but should be able to give you more details next week

The Element Presets object specifies all the element types available in the designer. Using the Element Presets object, Apps can select native Webflow elements to insert onto a page with the element creation methods.

Each preset corresponds to a unique element type, complete with its own properties and methods. For a deeper understanding of how to manipulate these element properties and methods, consult the Designer Extension type definitions and documentation on element properties and methods.

The Elements tab shows all available elements. To load an element into the current layout, simply click the element icon. Elements are grouped into Basic, Multiple Items and System elements. Custom elements added by a child theme are grouped under Custom. Use the search to easily find the needed element.

The Pro Presets tab shows all available element presets built by YOOtheme. New presets are added to this cloud library on a regular basis. To load a preset into the current layout, simply click the preset preview image. Use the filter options to find the needed preset. Either browse all presets or select a builder element to show its available presets. Hover the preset to see which builder element it is based on and the option it showcases.

The My Presets tab shows a list of your saved presets which include the content and settings of an element. To load a preset into the current layout, simply click its name. Actions to Rename, Download and Delete the preset will appear on hover. The last modified date shows when the preset was changed. Additionally, the search can be used to easily find the needed preset.

Presets can be downloaded as JSON file and uploaded again to reuse them across different projects. The Download action appears when hovering the preset, while the Upload Preset button is available in the upper right corner. There is also a Download All button to download all element presets at once.

The Panel element has title, meta, content, image and link fields. So whenever any combination of these fields is needed, use the Panel element instead of separate Text, Image and Button elements. When using multiple panels side by side, use the Grid element which can display multiple panel items.

Today we are excited to introduce YOOtheme Pro 2.7! This time it is all about the elements! We are proud to introduce a brand new element preset library with over 280 Pro presets which we think will completely change the way you create layouts! All 36 elements got their own online showcase and a dedicated documentation. But that's not all. There are so many new features for the elements, and the focus style for keyboard navigation is heavily improved. So get comfortable and let's get started!

YOOtheme Pro 2.7 adds a new Pro Presets tab to the element library, just like the one you know from the layout library. It was a small task to add the tab to the library, but it was a huge workload to fill it with content. Our designers went through all our existing layouts and picked the most useful examples for the new library. Every image, every element feature was carefully considered to give you the best collection of ready-to-use element presets. We added 280+ (!!) elements to the new preset library that you can load into your layouts with just a click.

We have been working on this huge task for the last 4 months, which is why all the theme package releases are scheduled for late autumn. But we think it is worth it because it gives you a new visual way to add elements to your builder layout and will be a huge boost for your workflow. Instead of starting with a blank element, you can pick an element variation visually without having to set any of its options. Now even someone who uses the page builder for the first time can see how different an element can look like and won't have to guess what hides behind all its settings. We think this will forever change the way you create layouts. And as with all our libraries, we will continue to update it with fresh element presets, so the first 280+ presets are just the beginning.

All elements now have a showcase where you can see all the variations from the preset library. Similar to the Widgetkit demo, you can see how the elements look in all YOOtheme Pro styles. This also helps us improve our styles and make sure they look great with all the element presets.

As we were working on the elements showcase, we took the opportunity and wrote a comprehensive documentation for the basic, multiple items and system elements. Here you will find all you need to know about the elements and their settings. We also recorded 73 new documentation videos for both WordPress and Joomla showing you the element settings in action. This was quite a lot of work (phew).
