I have SceneJS working on an un-jailbroken iPhone/iPad iOS5 in a
UIWebView, this is my platform of choice.

But this can't go live until Apple officially release WebGL support.

However I'm totally sold on the JSON scene definition and the message
system, so I am planning to keep SceneJS but not use WebGL outside of
Dev for now.

I have added simple command extensions to draw to a 2D Canvas, my
JavaScript is not up to too much more yet, but I'm looking to
integrate the CAAT framework "http://labs.hyperandroid.com/static/
caat/'.

CAAT supports rendering to 2D or 3D canvas contexts, if this could be
integrated into the layer concept then a layer could be assigned to
CAAT graphics for GUI's/HUDS or animated backgrounds.

Before I start on the steep learning curve I'd appreciate any initial
thoughts as to whether this is even going to be feasible with the
internal architecture in SceneJS and whether there might be any
interest in this from others.
