Mine are wrong as well and sometimes they switch in flight. Pilot and Copilot are female avatars, tried switching to others (then doing some ATC comms) and back, no luck. Seen in SU10 and 11, but I more or less took a break after SU5 where it still was fine. On both Azure and local. PC.

I have this issue frequently when I am watching a series where it segues from one episode to another of the same series, (I.E, Bad Batch, Wednesday, Velma, Etc) the select is not selected, I have to exit the show and restart it to get rid of the Voice over it is becoming an issue.

Does the issue only occur on a specific channel? If yes, please reply here with the channel name. We would also recommend making sure that the screen reader is turned off by pressing the star (*) button on your remote 4 times. Note that performing the same action will enable the screen reader.

If it is off, then the voice isn't being generated by your Roku. It's something within the channel, perhaps the audio track being played. But there's no Roku setting that creates a voice besides the one you have said is turned off.

Sorry to hear about the issue. We can see that the Screen reader on your Roku device settings is turned off. There are a few possible troubleshooting steps we can try to resolve the issue. Restart your device: Unplug your device from power for at least 10 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on. Disable audio description on your TV, if any: If your TV has the option to turn off the audio description, try disabling it. If you've tried the above steps and are still experiencing the issue, try to reach out to the support team for the specific channels you're having trouble with.

The button you want is the * button, which is below the directional pad button and above the fast forward button. That button exists on all Roku remotes. Press it four times quickly and it turns the voice guide on/off. You can completely disable it in the Settings menu under Settings/Accessibility/Screen reader.

My question is met with a heavy silence. She looks up at me, her eyes wide with bewilderment. She has never thought of teaching at her own church. I have to restrain my frustration at another brilliant and highly-educated woman who has remained silent in the Western church culture. Sadly, we both know the answer. Although her husband would welcome her voice and expertise, her gender would never be invited by their congregation to the pulpit.

Dr. Christy Bauman, LMHC is committed to helping women come into their true voice. She offers meaning-making and story work consulting. She is the author and producer of three works: Theology of the Womb, A Brave Lament, and Documentary: A Brave Lament. She is a psychotherapist, supervisor, and adjunct professor who focuses on the female body, sexuality, and theology. Christy is co-director of the Christian Counseling Center for Sexual Health and Trauma with her husband Andrew. They live in Seattle with their three kids: Wilder, Selah, and River.

At dinner we were glued to Entertainment Tonight or TV news that starred white men who barked at each other and a few blonde bombshells. (Brunette women did not address the public about current events.) Then, like now, mostly men reported the news, and the news stories were mostly about men and were backed up mostly by men as experts and sources, anointed as thought leaders to tell us all the truth. Star news anchor Chris Cuomo might have reported on the heyday of executive producer Harvey Weinstein, which legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin would then corroborate.

I got good at changing my voice, as if it were outfits. But it felt like a curse, almost, the way the legs of my voice could spread or shut, the way I could sound helpless and open to suggestion and to being walked all over and ignored everywhere but the bed and the crib.

Though it is not overly apparent at first, all three of these films deal with women or more specifically the abuse of them through a patriarchal triangle of abused trust, abused position, and abused ideology. In spite of this, a careless female vocal is present in the soundtrack of all three, ranging from childlike nursery rhyme in Rosemary to hints at pleasurable states in Klute, and dreamy, subversive euphoria in Harry. This is the era of the sexual revolution but in turn with that comes the abuse of it through the patriarchy and therefore the music to these films must reflect this and its various facets.

In a webpage, I want a female voice to speak my texts. I tried to do this by following code. But still now male voice is talking. How can I arrange a female voice to talk my texts? Can anybody share me a correct code that works in Google Chrome.

On the 1st try it might give out male's voice. But on the 2nd attempt (without refreshing) it will give out the female's voice and try deploying it on a dummy server, there it will work like a charm in the first go.

An amazing experience being regalled by top notch stories and poetry from the talking chatbot!! It would be great, however, to get at least one softer female voice, without an edge to it. They all sound like people in an office. I originally subscribed to ChatGPT plus in order to have friendly and supportive conversations, but I am not quite comfortable enough to do this with the stiffness of the female voices included. Someone, please do an upgrade on this!! thank you

I see many questions online from female voice teachers about teaching male voices. I also get lots of direct questions from them about what to do. Sometimes other teachers will come to observe me teaching males. Many of my students previously studied with female teachers who apparently did not understand what to do with a male voice. There is so much confusion out there around this topic.

It is not surprising, since a lot of female teachers have studios that are overwhelmingly female. Many of these teachers always had female teachers who themselves only taught females. There are more women than men studying voice, and students will gravitate toward a teacher of their own gender more often than not.

I have identified a few points that seem to need more emphasis in the training of teachers, based on my experience. All pitches referred to will be actual sounding pitch, not printed pitch. C4= middle C. The B above that is B4, then the tenor high C is C5, and so on.

The adolescent voice change is not a disaster, or a time bomb, or something impossible to deal with. Helping mature men with low voices to expand their upper range and develop more ease is not just a matter of breath support and resonance. It requires a knowledge of the coordinative process between registers, patience, the willingness to experiment, and providing a safe, comfortable environment in which to make many kinds of sounds.

I want to change my voice from male to female, to make voice over for video clips. Usually the voice over is done by a female coworker, but it takes her 1 to 2 days to do it. If I do it myself, it only takes a few seconds.

As we were both living in Orange County, CA, and shared mutual professional voice over clients, we would sometimes find ourselves sitting across from each other in the booth at Audio Images in Irvine, playing some husband/wife couple searching for a new car, or other familiar scenario.

One day, a producer asked me to read the script for a commercial and I suddenly discovered my passion for voice-over! That was 20 years ago, and now here I am, a professional female voice over actor recording in my home studio or with real people in their Kansas City area studios.

In choir our conductor gave us the advice that your lips should be tingling when you hum, which worked well for lower notes. However, when me and the first sopranos got up to the higher notes, we couldn't hum in the same way and it just felt tight in the throat and not a very nice sound. Is there a good technique to do this or is there no nice way to hum high notes?!

Just talking from personal experience, but humming usually needs you you to have you lips closed. This means that the air flow will need to go through the nose. If the air flow through the nose is blocked to some extend it will be harder to do high notes because it is harder to get the air flow required. In such a case it might help to slightly open your mouth.

Also you need the keep resonance in mind. Singing technique is about creating as much sound with as little effort as possible. This means you need to adjust the resonance of your mouth in such a way that you get the most from the note you are producing to strain your voice as little as possible.

The resonance frequency of a cavity like the mouth will increase if we make the cavity smaller or the opening larger (this is similar to how closing the bottom of a wind instrument will make the note lower).
