These are an exploding trend right now, and included in that trend is anything that looks hand-drawn; scribble-like doodles and hand-style graffiti styles are all the rage! So we thought what better time than now to collect and feature some of our favorite bubble fonts. These are all free-to-use fonts made by talented artists, illustrators, and type designers. We even included some graffiti-style fonts we thought were simply too good to pass up!
Lobster is a lovely bold, retro-style condensed script font that has become hugely popular over recent years. So much so that it risked being over-used, but in the right project it can still really shine. Created by Impallari Type (Cyreal) you can use Lobster now in Easil or you can find it in Google Fonts.
Now Tahoma on the other hand, is a *lovely* sans serif font that I use all the time on my Samsung home laptop PC now. It has a nice upper-case I with horizontal top and bottom crosspieces (my term), making it look very different from the straight lower-case L. I am so disappointed that I cannot use this font by default on my Samsung Galaxy S8 smartphone in any Android software (except Microsoft Office 365 Mobile apps, such as Word.) Do you know in retrospect, I would have loved to have had Tahoma on my old CBM Amiga computers back in the day (1988-1992.) The default font on Amigas in those days was called Topaz and yes, the upper-case I and lower-case L in that font were nice and different too.
