Reg: Pursuing PhD after PGDBA in Symbiosis

Hi Everybody

Can anybody tell me whether a PGDBA from Symbiosis is eligible for
pursiung a PhD/ fellowship in management? Does any of the senior
members of the group have any info regarding this? If yes, can you
tell me which universities are offering PhD programmes in management
(both full-time/ distance)?

hi anamika,

I have visted many colleges' website, and i didnt see a word "full
time" MBA required for PhD. As every college has its own eleigibility
criteria for admissio to PhD, you need to check up with your college
of interest whether they offer admssion to dist. learning PGDBAs.

however, there are few college who offer admission to PhD prgrms even
after B.Tech./ B.E. and at least two years of work experience.
e.g.SJMSOM, Mumbai.
