Dear friends,
We hope the holiday season gave you rest and fellowship as we now head into
a new year of ministry.
1. New format
Our SCCCA Training committee met in early January and made a decision to
change the format of our training meeting.
We hope that this format will cater to a wider audience and make better use
of our resources. For those who will miss our monthly meetings and found
mentoring/encouragement there, please contact us - we'd love to continue to
still meet with you on a monthly basis albeit in a more informal sense.
Thus for 2010 we propose four training day events through the year.
THE CORE - "training from the inside out!"
(all at North Side Chinese Alliance Church)
Saturdays March 6
May 8
July 24
October 9
Please keep these dates in mind in your planning. More information to come
closer to the events.
2. Think tank meet
We are in the process of finalising the program from the year and would be
keen to hear from you as to what will be helpful in terms of theological and
practical training. So, if you can (or know of someone who could) represent
your church in this respect, please come to our:
CORE open forum
Thursday 11 February 8-9.30pm
North Side Chinese Alliance Church, 59 Carlingford Road, Epping
RSVP by replying to this email!
It'd be great to hear about our local churches, what you are doing there and
how we might be of better help (as well as share some chinese new year
cookies!).
