About visualization of CAM

Hi, 

Since there are so many APs which can be used to do that, like AMWG, NCL, matlab and so on, I would like to ask if there are any appointed applications for CAM visualization?

For visualization, I know that AMWG puts out a lot of graphics. I typically use NCL, but any netcdf plotting tool of your choice is fine if something works better for you. I know I've used R, ferret, and grads before as well as NCL. The community I've interacted with typically uses NCL though. There's no required standard for visualization applications though.
