ABOUT CESM COMPSET AND GRID

Hi

 I have read the user guide of CESM about the compset and grid  .There are still so many cases even that in the F compset ,such as F_1850 F_2000 and so on.So I have a question that whether we are told the detailed description of the compset and grid which will be used in the configure or we shoud only decide by ourselves when given a new case and data in the competition.
