I downloaded CatchR and started it and it is not detecting PPT 2007 on
my machine. I most definitely have PPT and would like to use it. Any
suggestions?

Perhaps the PPT 2007 PIA's (Primary Interop Assemblies, the 'new' name for DLLs) didn't get installed when you set up Office?
I thought they would install on demand, if not automatically.
You can find info and downloads here:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=59daebaa-bed4-4282-a28c-b864d8bfa513&displaylang=en

I found this note on a Microsoft forum:

"Are the PIAs part of the default Office installation? (I don't think they are)."
With Office 2007 the way this works is that if you have a version of the .Net framework installed on your machine then when you are installing Office the PIAs will get installed automatically. Otherwise users will have to enable the option to install them manually. Typically the PIAs are installed via the ".Net Programmability Support" option under each Office application.

Great. For other readers, here's a Microsoft response that includes
Office 2003 info:

To install the primary interop assemblies when you install Microsoft
Office
Install the Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 or later.

Install Microsoft Office and select the Complete installation option.

During a Typical installation of Microsoft Office, the primary interop
assemblies are set to be installed on first use if the .NET Framework
is installed. This installation option works on development computers
during project creation and on end user computers when an end user
runs a Microsoft Office solution.

Redistributable Primary Interop Assemblies Package
The primary interop assemblies for Microsoft Office products are also
available in a redistributable Microsoft Windows Installer package:

The package for Microsoft Office 2003 is available for download from
the Microsoft Download Center (http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?
LinkId=50479).

The package for the 2007 Microsoft Office system is available for
download from the Microsoft Download Center (http://go.microsoft.com/
fwlink/?LinkId=72637).

To install using the redistributable package
Install the Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 or later.

Run the Windows Installer package.
