Hello again. In order to transfer data from QM, I need to change the sorting criteria in SDME. That is, an equivalent to the EDIT.MAP and CHAR.MAP commands in QM. If anyone knows a way to modify the sorting criteria in SDME I would really appreciate it. Best regards.

You might take a look at the file dh_hash.c in the gplsrc directory.

I am not sure what you are talking about. I have commercial QM and SDME and the main difference (besides missing lots of cool enhancements) is the dynamic file names. QM 2.6-6 has the older names as ~0 and ~1 vs current commercial QM of %0 and %1.
I wrote a program to 'rename' the dynamic files once copied from commercial QM.
Maybe you can explain more either via this group or private email.
If I can help, just let me know.

Hello everyone.

My basic problem is the sorting criteria for the Spanish alphabet. The character 'Ñ' (ASCII - 165) goes at the end of any alphabetical order when it should go after the 'N' (ASCII - 78). I am looking for a way to change the sorting criteria.

In QM it is done with the EDIT.MAP command that modifies the character map and with CHAR.MAP that allows loading an alternative character map.

I understand that this problem occurs in many languages that have different characters and it is solved but I have not been able to find out where I can change this configuration.

Thank you very much for your attention.

I hope to contribute to this last oasis of multivalue remaining alive for a long time.

Greetings.
