Well, they might be showing women in negative light but they are also showing men as nothing more than idiots. So do men accept that they are idiots and are okay with such portrayal of their sex in movies?

I'm not talking about casual movie goers who don't give two shits about a movie after watching it. I'm talking about men who defend these movies and agree with the fact that majority of women are like that as shown in these movies, do these people take a look at how their own gender is being portrayed?
Because after watching both movies of PKP series, I didn't think that how evil the women were shown in the films. I used to think how idiotic the male characters were and felt second hand embarrassment for them. I never ever felt that these movies were pandering to men because of how they made a joke out of their issues.
