Forthe first time in back-to-back years, Call of Duty returns with a direct sequel as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III picks up immediately following the events of last year's incredible blockbuster Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. This all-new experience is scheduled to be released worldwide on Friday, November 10th allowing players for the first time to continue their journey, progression, and story seamlessly for a new year to come.

Get ready for an all-new Campaign that continues the story immediately following the events of Modern Warfare II. Lead developer Sledgehammer Games, in partnership with Infinity Ward is set to deliver a full Campaign of action-packed operations ranging from signature, cinematic experiences to free-form Open Combat Missions, resulting in more player choice than ever before.

For the first time, team up with other squads to survive and fight massive hordes of the undead in the largest Call of Duty Zombies map ever. Modern Warfare Zombies (MWZ) tells a new Zombies story from developer Treyarch, with missions, core Zombies features, and a host of secrets to discover.

In the direct sequel to the record-breaking Modern Warfare II, Captain Price, and Task Force 141 face off against the ultimate threat. The ultranationalist Vladimir Makarov is extending his grasp across the world, causing Task Force 141 to fight like never before.

Prepare for seminal design to meet modern gameplay. This faithful modernization of the maps keeps their authenticity intact while infusing the latest tech, gameplay, modes, content, and more. Though you might have noticed elements of Terminal and Highrise during your time in Al Mazrah, the Modern Warfare III versions of these maps are built from scratch from the original 2009 designs.

In addition to brand-new modes like Cutthroat (a competitive 3v3v3 experience), a full range of fan-favorite and innovative gameplay features will be available at launch to get everyone started, like choosing to play Hardpoint and Kill Confirmed on Favela, modes that were never part of the original map offering, providing a refreshing multiplayer experience within these familiar environments.

Modern Warfare III brings new levels of customization to Create-a-Class. Get ready to build your Loadout based on cutting-edge military equipment, such as gloves, tactical vests, boots and more; allowing you to fine-tune more aspects of gameplay.

The evolution of the Gunsmith continues with the addition of After-Market Parts. This is a special set of customization options allowing you to focus on your preferred and specific playstyle. After-Market Parts enable you to construct unique weapon configurations or types such as customizing a machine gun into a bullpup configuration (with the firing grip in front of the breech rather than behind it), thus increasing mobility and handling without compromising on damage output.

After-Market Parts will also offer new progression paths, and challenges to unlock. We will be sharing more information on these innovations in the coming weeks.

As discussed in the Carry Forward Deep Dive Q&A Blog, a vast amount of content and weapon progression from Modern Warfare II will come with you to Modern Warfare III. That means every Multiplayer weapon you currently have in your MWII arsenal, along with all the new weapons available in Modern Warfare III, will be accessible to use on Day One.

For the first time, team up with other squads to survive and fight massive hordes of the undead in the largest Call of Duty Zombies map ever. Modern Warfare Zombies (MWZ) tells an involved and unearthly Dark Aether Zombies story set in the Modern Warfare universe. Expect to undertake missions across different regions that escalate in difficulty, with core Zombies features and a cavalcade of secrets to discover. Ready up for an open-world player versus enemy (PvE) extraction survival experience against some of the biggest enemies in Call of Duty history.

I don't have Xbox live or even internet, but I would still like to create my own class (as far as I know you have to be on level 4 for that and you have to be online to level up) on COD 4. I also have modern warfare 3 and in there you can level up in the local multiplayer. I was wondering if you can do the same in the first game.

The offline split screen is an exact copy of the online system, though they are separate so they don't transfer between each other. You can do everything in split screen, that you can do in online play.

Yes indeed, but the issue is the term "level" differs in single player mode and multiplayer mode in cod4. someone might be level 1 on sp while being lvl55 on mp vice versa.so you can play game levels on solo mode to level up the mode, and you can play online/lan to level up on multiplayer mode.

In Call of Duty: Black Ops, Bots first appeared in this game in a combat training lobby. They can be activated by going to the edit game options section and changing the number of friendly and hostile bots. In Recruit and Regular difficulty, Bots use weak tactics and never check what's behind them, but will aim for the head. In Hardened and Veteran mode, bots use all of their tactics and focus and checks who is behind them, and they can usually hear enemies' steps. Bots can use all kind of weapons and equipment, as well as even use the reviving ability included with Second Chance, but they won't equip one more attachment on their primary weapon when they are using Warlord. The bots have their clan tag set to [3arc], which is the clan tag used exclusively by Treyarch members.

Bots are back in Black Ops II and are smarter than they were on Black Ops. In II, the bots are smarter and are now able to capture objectives. They not only appear in offline multiplayer, but also appear online on Combat Training on both Boot Camp and Objective. If a player leaves a combat training lobby early, a bot will replace the role. When a new player is joining a session, one of the bots will leave and give room to the new player. They also have their clan tag set to [3arc], just like in Black Ops. Also, players can add bots in Custom Games now.

Bots randomly choose what they use in combat (except Peacekeeper), and are able to pick up weapons from the ground. Aircrafts (except Warthogs and Hunter Killer Drones, because they are fast) can be easily shot down by bots with lock-on rocket launchers like the SMAW and FHJ-18 AA, so some air scorestreaks such as UAVs and Stealth Helicopters are less effective when playing against them, however they don't attack aircrafts with guns. Veteran bots even often take down helicopters which are transferring Care Packages and A.G.R.s while other bots only do that sometimes. EMP is also not very powerful against bots, but it can take away the ability of using scorestreaks for a while.

On the other hand, ground scorestreaks are quite effective in this situation. No perk can counter them, and bots only use guns to damage them. So an A.G.R. can stay active much longer and kill more bots than a Stealth Helicopter which is a bit more expensive, also a team can have 2 A.G.R.s at the same time.

Tactical grenades are less effective against bots, they still can aim and shoot accurately when flashed or stunned, but they are still slowed down. Using smoke grenades isn't a good idea too, bots are able to see through smoke without problem. However, bots use tactical grenades (except EMP grenades) very often, but humans are the real victim as these grenades won't deal much damage to other bots.

For the lethal stuffs, the only thing bots don't use is Tomahawk. There is something special about bots: they use C4 as a claymore, their C4s automatically explode when an enemy is close enough. Bots always shoot enemy gadgets with guns if they find one.

When it comes to weapons attachments, bots can equip everything they want, but they can't use the grenade launcher and select fire if these are attached. Also bots can't switch the hybrid scope to ACOG mode, they use reflex mode all the time.
