For safety and liability reasons, pregnant women are unable to participate in this program.

Guests with Special Needs: Do you or one of your group have a physical or cognitive limitation? Please let us know prior to booking so we can connect you with our Coordinator about what assistance might be needed.

Being a Dolphin Research Center Member includes free annual admission, newsletters, online access to our Members Only website, special event invitations, discounts at our onsite and online Gift Shops, and other benefits depending on membership level. Membership is great way that you or, as a gift, someone special can support DRC by becoming a member of our extended family.

DRC's staff and dolphins are currently working on a number of cognitive and behavioral research projects that relate to their overarching goal of mapping the dolphin mind and understanding how dolphins think and learn. Check here to see what's in the research spotlight, publication announcements and details of DRC findings. This information is also featured in a bi-monthly newsletter for members.

Our DolphinLab programs offer a combination of educational seminars, workshops, demonstrations, in water and hands-on learning activities with our dolphins, sea lions and staff family. Three DolphinLab programs, DolphinLab Adult, DolphinLab Teen and DolphinLab Group, are available and suited for any learning level. Some DolphinLab programs also offer the unique opportunity for participants to earn college credit while swimming with dolphins.

Dolphin Research Center offers many educational opportunities for teachers, including in-classroom curriculum with detailed lesson plans and opportunities for group visits and field trips. Discovering Dolphins, a CD-ROM for grades K through 8, includes curriculum, hand-outs, photographs, sound recordings and more. Explore DRC's resource library for teachers as well as information on outreach and distance learning.

Explore detailed marine mammal information including guides on dolphins, sea lions, manatees, training marine mammals and strandings. Learn about dolphin acoustics, anatomy, culture, communciation, maternity, natural history and physiology and discover what sea lions and manatees eat, where they live and all about their senses.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not offer ground transportation between our destinations. Walking around Times Square and up/down the stairs in the theatres and restaurants are required on this trip. Show offerings are subject to change without prior notice based on ticket availability.

Hotels are optional add-ons but we highly recommend them as we have secured the best rates. You can choose to stay in a Signature King or 2 Queens Room at Hotel Edison, or in the Fantastic Suite at W Hotel Times Square. If you choose W Hotel Times Square, you will be able to earn Marriot Rewards.

Our trip begins Thursday, May 23rd at 5 pm with the Welcome Reception. Please make sure that your flight arrives a few hours prior to allow for possible flight delays and/or traffic. We recommend booking an extra night on Wednesday so you can be settled the day before.

Please note that we have not confirmed which show will be on which date yet so the show times are subject to change. This preliminary itinerary is provided for your reference on the amount of free time available.

Yes! On Friday, our first official event is dinner at 6PM. We will have some optional guided tours in the morning, but this is the time to choose your own journey, if you choose. We are happy to give you suggestions. Stay tuned!

The Hotel Edison and W Hotel are adjacent to each other on West 47th St, between 7th Ave and 8th Ave, in the heart of Times Square. They are conveniently located within walking distance to all our theatres and restaurants.

Regular check-in is at 3PM for Hotel Edison and at 4PM for W Hotel. Check-out is at 12PM for both hotels. We can request for early check-in or late check-out for you for both hotels but it is not guaranteed.

Wireless internet access is included in your package pricing at Hotel Edison. W Hotel charges $14.95/day for wireless internet in guest rooms, though it is free in the lobby and public areas. The cost of the WiFi will be added to your incidental charges so you will pay for it at check-out.

Our number one suggestion is to be comfortable! You will see a wide variety, in both theatres and restaurants (none of our restaurants require a jacket). Smart casual to smart dress works! It is important to be ready to walk a few blocks in unpredictable weather, so keep that in mind for both foot and protective wear.

Some theatres do offer Assisted Listening Devices, Open/Closed Caption, and Audio Description upon request. We will send out a survey in January where you can tell us if you need these services, and we will do our best to reserve them for you.

New York City is served by three airports: JFK, LGA and EWR. Pick what flight works best for you. There are direct flights from SJC to JFK on JetBlue. SFO offers more options. Pay attention to arrival time. It can take more than 1 hour to get to your hotel from either of those 3 airports during rush hour. Our first event is the Welcome Cocktails on Thursday evening at 5 PM so please arrive at least a few hours prior!

There are a variety of options from public transportation to a NY taxi cab. Cost for a cab or Uber/Lyft is in the $65 range (not including tip or tolls). Fares are regulated, and you will get a price before you accept. Plan for 45 minutes to 1 hour during non-rush hour and at least 1.5 hours during rush hour.

All of our activities are located in/around Times Square within a couple of blocks of each other, so we just walk! If walking is difficult for you, you can take a taxi on your own but please allow double the amount of time needed for walking because traffic can be very bad in Times Square.

Bring comfortable walking shoes. Even though we are staying in the heart of the action, our days are long and filled with activities. You will want to feel good going to your evening shows after a day of exploring.

Characterology: Non-Emotive, Active and Secondary type or Emotive, non Active and Secondary type or sometimes Non-Emotive, non Active and Secondary type; it is a Phlegmatic, a Sentimental or an Empathic type

Here are some character traits from Alicia Keys's birth chart. This description is far from being comprehensive but it can shed light on his/her personality, which is still interesting for professional astrologers or astrology lovers.

When interpreting a natal chart, the best method is to start gradually from general features to specific ones. Thus, there is usually a plan to be followed, from the overall analysis of the chart and its structure, to the description of its different character traits.

In the first part, an overall analysis of the chart enables us to figure out the personality's main features and to emphasize several points that are confirmed or not in the detailed analysis: in any case, those general traits are taken into account. Human personality is an infinitely intricate entity and describing it is a complex task. Claiming to rapidly summarize it is illusory, although it does not mean that it is an impossible challenge. It is essential to read a natal chart several times in order to absorb all its different meanings and to grasp all this complexity. But the exercise is worthwhile.

In brief, a natal chart is composed of ten planets: two luminaries, the Sun and the Moon, three fast-moving or individual planets, Mercury, Venus and Mars, two slow-moving planets, Jupiter and Saturn, and three very slow-moving planets, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. Additional secondary elements are: the Lunar Nodes, the Dark Moon or Lilith, Chiron and other minor objects. They are all posited on the Zodiac wheel consisting of twelve signs, from Aries to Pisces, and divided into twelve astrological houses.
