SCANZ Crystallography School - Registrations Open

Dear SCANZ Members and Colleagues,

Apologies to those who are getting a double-post from the official membership database and this list.

The 2024 Australasian Crystallography School will run 2nd-6th September at the Australian Synchrotron, ANSTO. The website for the school is now live and registrations are being taken (closing 31/7/24).

The process to apply for Maslen scholarships to support student SCANZ members travelleing to the conference will be announced shortly.

Please note that on-site accommodation is limited and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. There are alternative accommodation options within walking distance of the facility.

Hi Dave,

 

Is it possible to ascertain whether our Crystallography School registration will be successful earlier than July? As from what I have been told, filling out the registration link (which I have done) does not guarantee you a place in the program.

We have a few students from the University of Auckland who are keen. Still, we possibly will no longer be able to afford the cost of attending if we are not to find out the outcome until much later in the year, as the flights from Auckland to Melbourne are cheap now, but quite possibly won’t be later in the year!
