Crystal 33 First announcement

Dear SCANZ Members

 

The Organising Committee is pleased to issue first announcement for Crystal 33, the next instalment in our long-running series of meetings that began (as the Bush Crystallographers) in 1961.

 

Crystal 33 will be held at the University of Wollongong from 14-18 April, 2020. For details see the conference website www.crystal33.org. Abstract submission is open immediately.

 

As per tradition, up to $10,000 is available to support PhD student attendance in the form of “1987” Maslen scholarships.

 

Scientific highlights will include the “1987” Plenary Lecture, the award of the Bragg and Mathieson medals, and the Rising Star Award session.

 

We very much look forward to seeing you in Wollongong, as we ramp up towards the important milestone of hosting the IUCr Congress in Melbourne in 2023.
