Refreshing the vision and values of the IUCr [SEC=UNOFFICIAL]

I’d would like to draw your attention to the initiatives being undertaken to refresh the vision and purpose of the IUCr. As described in Jenny Martin's recent IUCr Newsletter article, there are two ways for you to express your views on this:

• A survey link will soon be sent to those signed up for email updates through their World Directory of Crystallographers profile - please review your profile to ensure you receive the link. The survey will open on 6 March and close on 26 March.
• A workshop will take place on 22 August immediately before IUCr2023 in Melbourne. An expression of interest in this workshop needs to be undertaken in conjunction with registration for the Congress, and by the end of April. See here for more details. Workshop participants will be selected from the expressions of interest to ensure a diverse group. We want to ensure that global and diverse viewpoints will be collated through the survey and workshop.
