I just downloaded Scan Tailor for use on Windows 10 Pro. I was looking for software that would deskew tifs already scanned, and this seems to do an excellent job. But I have looked in vain for instructions, either in the app help or on the site.
Questions:
The functions are fairly self-explanatory, though I had trouble getting the app to apply the various process settings to all of the files, even though I kept selecting "Apply to All Pages" for each function--it seems I had to manually select all pages in the right-hand column to have it apply. Is this really the case?
And I'm using the software mainly to deskew--does processing by default need to go through all functions 1 through 6? (Split pages and select content were especially troublesome--I had to reset those a few times to get it to work right.)
I'm sure once I get some of the basics down it will be much more efficient, but instructions to help in this regard would be very much appreciated--if there's a link somewhere or a PDF I can pull down that would be great.
