Page splitting and file naming

Hey

I've been using scan tailor for a long while now and am very happy with it. But, as with anything in life there are things that I feel could be an improvement. If not anyone else :)

One thing I would really appreciate is the ability to customise the output file format, so be able to change prefixes and suffixes depending on my needs.

One more thing would be the ability to split pages into more than 2, for breaking up columnar pages essentially. It would be very nice if it were possible to do it at least into three files.

Perhaps you should file those feature requests on Github:

You should not expect them to actually get implemented any time soon, as AFAIK no one is currently working on Scan Tailor. Still, if a feature request is on Github, people can comment on it, which is a good thing I guess.

Splitting pages into more than 3 parts would require major architectural changes, so I don't think it will ever get done. Customizable prefixes / suffixes could be implemented as part of the "Export" feature that was recently discussed on one of the tickets. Unfortunately my quick search on Github failed to find that discussion.
