Dear All,
A reminder of some upcoming events in the Scandinavian Studies seminar series.
This Thursday (26 March) we will meet at a different time and venue to normal: 1pm in CB203 (50-52 College Bounds), which is upstairs from the usual room. We will be joined by Carola Maccallum for a workshop as part of Gaelic Awareness Week.
Next Thursday, 5 March, we return to the usual schedule: 5pm in CB009. We will welcome Prof. Judith Jesch (Nottingham) to speak about her recent translation of
Orkneyinga saga as
The Saga of the Earls of Orkney (Birlinn, 2025): 'Deep dives into
Orkneyinga saga: Notes from the translator’s workshop'. Further details here:

Attendance for both sessions is in-person only, but everyone is welcome if you are or will be in Aberdeen!
Best wishes,
Hannah
